ClimateGate:
Worst Scientific Scandal of Generation ...The
reason why even the Guardian's George Monbiot has expressed total shock
and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents is that their authors are
not just any old bunch of academics. Their importance cannot be overestimated,
What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years
been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than
any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN's Intergovernmental

I am among the original signatories to that statement, released to the public

all come down to this -- I believe we are facing an inevitable and culture- determining
decision on the three issues centrally identified in this statement. MORE |

Rick Warren Slams Obama's Abortion Stance
President
Barack Obama's stance on abortion amounts to ignoring an American holocaust, says
Pastor Rick Warren, author of the best- selling "A Purpose Drive Life." Speaking
on NBC's Meet the Press, Warren slammed Obama's stance that abortions should
be rare, suggesting that position essentially supports the idea that life begins
at conception. "We've had 46 million Americans who aren't here. Those who could
be here since Roe v. Wade, who are not voting. I think that innocence is a holocaust.
I really do," Warren said. MORE |

Greens needed a threat -- one that menaced not only technological civilization,
but life on earth itself. They have promoted an endless parade of such threats
since the 1960s -- overpopulation, pollution, runaway nuclear power, and global
cooling -- only to see them shrivel like old balloons. They required a menace

“They Did Not
Honor Him as God, or Give Thanks” Thanksgiving
is a deeply theological act, rightly understood. As a matter of fact, thankfulness

Golden survived more than 20 years in the Army and another 30 in law enforcement.
He fell sick with colon cancer, and at 86, he has an artificial hip and arthritis

of thanks promote health and happiness and give optimism and energy to the downtrodden.
Now, the study of gratitude has become a surprisingly burgeoning field, and research
indicates being thankful might help people actually feel better. There's a catch,
however: You have to say thanks more than just once a year.MORE |

Why
Is Islam Confusing? Americans
are greatly confused as to what to think about the Muslim religion. Our political
leaders constantly tell us that Islam is a “religion of peace.” Presidents Bush
one and two, President Clinton, and especially President Barack Obama all repeat
this like a ‘mantra’ of indisputable truth. Yet Islam’s own foundational books
and its history show conclusively that is not true. The problem is based in a
contradiction within the very foundation Islam itself. MORE |

Verse Being Used In Anti-Obama Slogan There’s
a new slogan making its way onto car bumpers and across the Internet. It reads
simply: “Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8” A nice sentiment? Maybe not.
The psalm reads, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office.” Presidential
criticism through witty slogans is nothing new. Bumper stickers, t-shirts, and
hats with “1/20/09” commemorated President Bush’s last day in office. But
the verse immediately following the psalm referenced is a bit more ominous: “Let
his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.” MORE |

bill that most of us overwhelmingly stand in opposition to, the precursor to the

Babies Cry in Native Tongue From
their very first days, the cries of newborns already bear the mark of the language
their parents speak, scientists now find. French newborns tend to cry with rising
melody patterns, slowly increasing in pitch from the beginning to the end, whereas
German newborns seem to prefer falling melody patterns, findings that are both
consistent with differences between the languages. This suggests infants begin
picking up elements of language in the womb, long before their first babble or
coo. MORE |

Failed Doomsday Prophecies Just
as some people today believe a Maya calendar pinpoints 2012 as the end of the
world as we know it, some ancient Romans saw the A.D. 79 eruption of Mount Vesuvius

died in A.D. 65, had predicted the Earth would go up in smoke. The end never came,

Prepare for War with Iran The
postcard from the Home Front Command that recently arrived in my mailbox looks
like an ad from the Ministry of Tourism. A map of Israel is divided by color into
six regions, each symbolized by an upbeat drawing: a smiling camel in the Negev
desert, a skier in the Golan Heights. In fact, each region signifies the amount
of time residents will have to seek shelter from an impending missile attack.
The invisible but all-pervasive presence on that cheerful map of existential dread
is Iran. If Israel were to launch a pre-emptive strike against Iranian nuclear
facilities, Tehran’s two terrorist allies on our borders—Hezbollah and Hamas—would
almost certainly renew attacks against the Israeli home front. MORE |

Reagan: Are End-Time Prophecies Really Being Fulfilled Today?
I am constantly
running across articles by Dispensationalists in which the argument is presented
that in order to be a "consistent futurist," you cannot contend that prophecies

to Israel in the Tribulation and Millennium. Therefore, all we are seeing today
is "stage setting," but not the fulfillment of prophecy. I strongly disagree
with this viewpoint. First of all, there are four end time prophecies concerning
Israel that were fulfilled even before the 20th Century began. MORE |
