Bible Prophecy Today: Anti-Semitism in Mainstream Christianity
In 1992, Dr. Michael Brown, a Jewish believer in Jesus, wrote the book "Our Hands are Stained with Blood." Not only did Brown carefully document the shameful history of anti-Semitism in the Christian church, he also laid out a proper path of repentance....Many Christians have come to recognize the centrality of the Jews in God's plan for the ages, the Jewish roots of their own faith and the church's historical shortfall in appropriating these realities.  MORE

The Democratic congressional majority will soon decide whether taxpayers should subsidize abortions at military hospitals. Their decision will test President Obama’s trustworthiness and the voters’ patience. That order won him enough votes from pro-life legislators to pass the measure. But now pro-abortion Democrats are trying to do an end-run on the President’s promise.  MORE

Dueling Billboards In Asheville NC Debate Religion's Role In Government
This Independence Day weekend in Asheville, there's a seven-word debate brewing about religion's role in government, and area commuters have a front row seat to the controversy. That's because it's being played out on dueling Asheville billboards. The Rev. Ralph Sexton, pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, and the We Still Pray movement funded four digital billboards that debuted Friday in Asheville — including one on Hendersonville Road — with the message “One nation, under God.” This reference to the Pledge of Allegiance is a response in part to the billboard over I-26... American Thinker: Why Kagan Is Unqualified---and Dangerous
Despite being thoroughly unqualified to occupy the bench, Elena Kagan will most likely be confirmed to the Supreme Court. This is because most of our hundred senators are almost as unqualified to judge a judge as she is to be one. What is the proper criterion to apply? Well, a simple analogy illustrates the point best. Let's say you needed to hire a football referee. If he said that he was a "pragmatic" referee, who viewed the rule book as "living" and thus would interpret the rules to suit the "times," would he be your man? Since it's the job of the rule-makers... MORE

Bible Prophecy Today: Where Is America In Bible Prophecy?
We’ve read of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. We know of the important role of Jerusalem and Israel. But what about the United States of America? Only by the greatest expanse of ingenuity can you read of the USA in the Bible. The scenarios I give below are, by necessity, nothing but speculation.   MORE
